BHRA announces tournament push, athletics schedule, and fundraising sales on social media

Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School (BHRA) used its social media platform over the weekend and into Monday to announce upcoming athletic events and fundraising activities, including the 2025 Vermilion County Tournament and the sale of fleece blankets at school games.

On October 18, BHRA posted, " The 2025 Vermilion County Tournament is HERE — and the BHRA Blue Devils are coming for that title!

A day later, on October 19, the school highlighted a full schedule of sports for the week. The tweet read, " BLUE DEVIL WEEKLY ATHLETICS

On October 20, BHRA announced a fundraising effort by the Post Prom Committee. The tweet stated, "The Post Prom Committee will be selling fleece blankets at Thursday night's volleyball game and Friday night's football game. Stop by and grab yours for $30/each! Cash & Check (Made out to BHRA Post Prom) accepted. https://t.co/KahC869fmD".

Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School, located in Bismarck within Vermilion County, serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school had an enrollment of 334 students in the 2019-2020 academic year, with the largest group being tenth graders, accounting for 26.3 percent of the student body according to the Illinois Report Card (https://www.illinoisreportcard.com/). Demographically, BHRA was comprised of 92.2 percent white students, 0.9 percent black students, 3.3 percent Hispanic students, and 1.2 percent Asian students during that period.
