BHRA shares classroom activity and celebrates soccer championship win

Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School (BHRA) shared updates on student activities and athletic achievements through a series of posts on its official Twitter account in October 2025.

On October 7, BHRA highlighted a classroom activity, stating, "Survival of the fittest… paper dots edition! Biology 2 explored natural selection with a colorful, hands-on activity today."

Two days later, on October 9, the school promoted an upcoming soccer match, posting, " Final regular season game! Blue Devils take on OSF today at 4:30 PM @ Oakwood Grade School. A WIN = OUTRIGHT VVC Champs! Let’s pack the sidelines! Go Blue Devils! : Lahna Benjamin | FB: Lahna Bug Photos"

Following the match, BHRA announced its victory and championship status on October 10: "Your BHRA Blue Devils are the 2025 Vermilion Valley Conference Champions! They battled it out and took the W against OSF in penalty kicks in an absolute thriller! Congratulations Blue Devils!"

Bismarck-Henning Rossville-Alvin Cooperative High School, located in Bismarck in Vermilion County, serves grades 9 to 12 and had an enrollment of 334 students during the 2019-2020 school year, according to the Illinois Report Card. The student body was predominantly white, making up 92.2 percent, with smaller percentages of black, Hispanic, and Asian students. Grade 10 had the highest concentration of students at 26.3 percent.

The school's recent social media activity reflects both academic engagement and athletic success among its students.
