There were 88 American Indian students enrolled in Champaign County school districts in the 2023-24 school year, 18.9% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that American Indian students made up 0.4% of the 24,834 students in the county. They were the least represented ethnicity.
