Illinois Men’s Basketball has announced that all public season tickets for the 2025-26 season have sold out. This is the second consecutive year that season ticket inventory at State Farm Center has been fully claimed.
The news follows the earlier sellout of student season tickets, which were purchased in a record 18 minutes. This marks the fourth straight year of a complete student ticket sellout.
Those seeking priority access to available seats are encouraged to join the I FUND. Mini plans will be offered first to I FUND members starting September 30, based on membership level, with public sales beginning October 2. Single-game tickets will also be released to I FUND members ahead of general availability, starting October 20 and October 24 respectively.
Looking ahead to the new season, Illinois returns three starters from last year's squad that won 22 games and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round. The team finished with a final kenpom ranking of 17th nationally.
Head coach Brad Underwood’s tenure has seen Illinois become the winningest team in Big Ten play over the past six years. The program has captured three Big Ten championships in five seasons and is one of only four teams nationwide with six straight 20-win regular seasons. Additionally, Illinois is among just 13 programs nationally with five consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and stands as the only Big Ten team with a winning league record each year during this span.
"Fighting Illini Basketball has high expectations once again in 2025-26, with the team returning three starters from a 22-win campaign, NCAA Tournament Second Round appearance, and final kenpom ranking of 17th last season," according to university officials.
"Illinois is the winningest team in Big Ten play over the last six years of the Brad Underwood era and has won Big Ten championships in three of the last five seasons. During this stretch the Illini are one of only four teams nationally with six-straight 20-win regular seasons, one of 13 teams in the country to make five-straight NCAA Tournament appearances, and the only Big Ten team to post a winning league record in each of the last six years," university representatives stated.
