The University of Illinois Fighting Illini women's golf team achieved a 3.928 combined GPA for the 2024-25 academic year, securing the highest ranking among all Power 4 conference teams and placing seventh overall in NCAA Division I. The team's academic performance earned them a spot on the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Top-25 Team List.

Head coach Renee Slone's team led all Big Ten schools in this ranking, with Rutgers (3.917) and Michigan State (3.852) also making the top 25. "Slone's squad also brought home the top female team GPA at the 2025 Oskees."

Illinois has previously appeared on the WGCA Top-25 Team List in recent years, finishing tied for 21st in 2022, seventh in 2021, and tied for eighth in 2020.
