The Coach Bret Bielema Show, presented by Surfside, will return for the 2025 season on Wednesday nights during game weeks. The show will be broadcast across more than 50 stations on the Busey Bank Illini Sports Network, starting with its first episode on Wednesday, August 27 at 7 p.m. CT.
Head coach Bret Bielema will join host Brian Barnhart and special guests each week to discuss upcoming games and share updates from the Smith Football Center. The program aims to provide fans with insights and news about the team before each week's kickoff.
This year, Surfside is a new presenting partner of Fighting Illini Athletics. Six episodes are scheduled to be recorded in front of a live audience at the Smith Football Center on the University of Illinois campus. Attendance for these shows will be by invitation only due to capacity limits.
The Busey Bank Illini Sports Network is managed by Fighting Illini Sports Properties. Fans can find their local station through the network's website.
The scheduled dates for the show include: August 27; September 3, 10, 17, and 24; October 1, 8, 22, and 29; November 12, 19, and 26—all at 7 p.m. CT.
