Fighting Illini Athletics has released the special group themes and ticket promotions for the 2025 football season. This year’s lineup includes FamILLy Day during the matchup against Western Michigan and Dads Day when Illinois hosts Rutgers.
According to the announcement, limited group tickets are still available for all home games at Memorial Stadium. Fans interested in organizing group outings can contact a Fighting Illini Account Manager to learn more about available promotions and exclusive experiences.
FamILLy Day will take place on Saturday, September 13, when Illinois faces Western Michigan at 6 p.m. Central Time. This event is being held in partnership with Illinois' New Student & Family Experiences as part of its second annual FamILLy Day initiative. Although the dedicated FamILLy Day tailgate in Grange Grove is sold out, game tickets remain available.
In addition to FamILLy Day, that date will also feature Youth Sports Day. All youth sports participants and organizations—not just those involved in football—are invited to attend. The special ticket package for this day includes a Fighting Illini Youth Jersey while supplies last.
On Saturday, November 1, Illinois will continue its long-standing tradition by celebrating Dads Day during its game against Rutgers. The Dads Association tradition dates back to 1920 and aims to honor fathers of all Fighting Illini students and fans. Tickets and tailgate passes for Dads Weekend are currently available online, with further details about festivities provided on the organization’s website (www.illinidads.com).
