Rep. Mary Miller, currently serving Illinois’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, made a series of statements on social media in late July 2025 addressing immigration, economic deregulation, and trade policy under President Trump.
On July 28, 2025, Miller criticized President Biden and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s handling of immigration, stating: "Biden and Pritzker allowed an invasion of foreign criminals into Illinois. Americans didn’t vote for this lawlessness; they voted for MASS DEPORTATIONS. President Trump is delivering. "
The following day, she commented on economic policy and deregulation efforts: "Deregulation frees the economy so Americans can work, build, and prosper. President Trump and @epaleezeldin are clearing the path for American workers and job creators. Democrats would rather: Strangle your business Stifle production Suppress your freedom" (July 29, 2025).
Later that same day, Miller highlighted tariff revenues collected during the year: "RECORD-BREAKING: $150,000,000,000 in tariff revenue collected in 2025, and it’s only July. President Trump’s America First trade agenda is working. Foreign nations are FINALLY paying the price after decades of ripping off American jobs and industries."
Mary Miller has served as the representative for Illinois’ 15th congressional district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She won her seat by a wide margin in both the 2020 and 2022 general elections.
