On June 5, 2025, the Campus-Community Compact held its "Compact in Action: Community Impact Stories" event at the Beckman Institute. The event was attended by Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen, Council Member Vanna Pianfetti, and representatives from the City’s Equity and Engagement and Information Technologies Departments. Among those present were Community Relations Managers Tracy Parsons and Janel Gomez, as well as Information Technologies Director Mark Toalson.

The gathering included a morning session focused on reflection, celebration, and community impact. It showcased stories from individuals who have benefited from the Compact's initiatives. These narratives highlighted the effectiveness of collective action and shared purpose in fostering significant change within the community. Additionally, there was a special acknowledgment of Chancellor Robert Jones for his contributions during his tenure at the University of Illinois.
