Rep. Mary Miller, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Illinois' 15th district, shared updates on her recent activities and views via social media on June 11, 2025.

In one post, she expressed delight in welcoming Olivia, the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition, to Washington D.C. "It was a pleasure welcoming Olivia, the 2025 Congressional Art Competition winner, to Washington, D.C. today!" Miller highlighted that Olivia's artwork titled "A Smile Woven in History" will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol as a representation of creativity from Illinois' 15th district.

In another tweet, Rep. Miller addressed rising tensions involving foreign nationals in Chicago targeting ICE facilities. She questioned the stance of Illinois Governor JB Pritzker regarding these events: "The violent mob of foreign nationals targeting ICE is beginning to rise in Chicago, just as expected." She further asked whether Pritzker would support those he allegedly welcomed into Illinois or align with American citizens.

Additionally, Rep. Miller acknowledged the risks faced by military personnel amid what she described as chaotic situations involving illegal rioters. She called for prayers for their safety: "Our brave men and women in uniform are risking their lives to protect us from violent, illegal rioters."

Mary Miller has been serving since replacing John Shimkus in 2021 and resides in Oakland after being born in Oak Park in 1959. She holds a BA from Eastern Illinois University.
