Jake Stipp, former Danville High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Thursday, May 22 in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship

On Thursday, May 22, former Danville High School standout Jake Stipp’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans won 8-1 against the West Florida Argonauts in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the West Florida Argonauts in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 12 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.
