On Saturday, May 17, former Danville High School standout Jake Stipp’s current collegiate team the Tampa Spartans lost 25-4 against the Albany State Golden Rams in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at UT Baseball Field at 1 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Albany State Golden Rams in the tournament.

The Tampa Spartans’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 5 p.m. at UT Baseball Field.
