The Illinois football program has reached a significant milestone by selling out public season tickets for the first time in over two decades. More than 34,000 public season tickets have been sold, not including student and premium seating. The total number of season tickets for the Fighting Illini's opening game against Western Illinois on August 29 is projected to surpass 43,000.
In addition to season tickets, Illinois will offer a four-game mini plan starting Thursday at 9 a.m. CT. This package includes games at Memorial Stadium against Western Illinois, Ohio State, Rutgers, and Northwestern and is priced at $175.
The team is set to host seven games this season and brings back 18 starters from last year's squad that finished #16 in the final AP Top 25 after competing in the Citrus Bowl.
Student season tickets remain available, with sales doubling compared to the previous year as of early 2025. Illinois anticipates another sellout of student season tickets for the second consecutive year.
Regarding premium seating, all suites are sold out for the upcoming season. However, limited options are still available in other premium areas like the 77 Club and Colonnades Club. New members of the Colonnades Club can receive a 30% discount on their first-season ticket purchase.
