Today, Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) expressed her support following the U.S. House of Representatives' approval of H.R. 1, known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
“I was proud to cast my vote in support of President Trump’s One Big, Beautiful Bill,” stated Congresswoman Mary Miller. “This legislation delivers on the America First agenda that a majority of Americans support." She emphasized that the bill "ensures illegals are stripped of federal SNAP benefits, enforces common-sense work requirements for Medicaid, invests in mass deportation efforts, cuts taxes on tips and overtime, and dismantles Biden’s radical Green New Deal policies."
Miller highlighted her role as a member of the House Agriculture Committee in securing a significant provision within the bill. This provision aims to prevent illegal immigrants from receiving taxpayer-funded SNAP benefits, which she claims will save billions of dollars while aligning with President Trump's agenda.
Congresswoman Miller urged swift action from the Senate to advance this legislation to President Trump's desk.
