On May 7, 2025, Mikal Washington and Adonis Fuller participated in the Small Business Development Center's (SBDC) webinar series as part of National Small Business Week. Washington is a Community Relations Specialist for Equity and Engagement, while Fuller serves as a Purchasing and Compliance Specialist for Finance.
The session featured a presentation on the Champaign Diversity Advancement Program (CDAP). City staff highlighted efforts to support and promote equitable opportunities for local small businesses. The presentation detailed the registration process and benefits of participating in CDAP. It also emphasized compliance requirements from the City's Equal Opportunity Purchasing Ordinance.
