On May 1, 2025, Justice Victim Advocates from E&E took part in a Lunch and Learn event at the Cunningham Township Supervisor’s Office. The session was designed to inform community members and service providers about various Co-Responder Models being used across the nation. The presentation emphasized the benefits for local agencies, organizations, and residents as the region moves towards adopting these models.
The session encouraged discussion, offered constructive feedback, and highlighted both progress and challenges. It also promoted educational and collaborative engagement among local care service providers, elected officials, and the University of Illinois School of Social Work.
