Representative Mary Miller, serving in the U.S. Congress for Illinois' 15th district since 2021, recently shared a series of tweets expressing her views on current issues. These posts reflect her perspectives on state policies and national matters.
On May 6, 2025, Miller directed her followers to an exclusive article by Pete Pinedo on Fox News through a tweet: "Read the full @FoxNews @Pete_Pinedo exclusive: https://t.co/e6xNJUc3mK".
In another post on the same day, Miller criticized Governor JB Pritzker's policies in Illinois. She stated, "Governor JB Pritzker’s sanctuary state policies have transformed Illinois into a cesspool of crime and drugs brought by the illegals he is actively resettling." She further alleged that these policies result in communities being overwhelmed and contribute to severe crimes against citizens.
Later that day, Miller commented on military enlistment criteria with regard to gender identity. She tweeted, "If you don’t know whether you are male or female, you should not be in our armed forces—plain and simple." She referred to this stance as "a huge victory for common sense."
Mary Miller was born in Oak Park, Illinois, in 1959 and currently resides in Oakland. She holds a BA from Eastern Illinois University.
