More than 500 volunteers participated in the Annual Boneyard Creek Community Day held on April 12. During the event, volunteers gathered over 300 bags of trash at Scott Park. Common items collected included plastic bags, food wrappers, Styrofoam, foam parts, plastic caps and bottles, and straws.
City staff supported volunteers at additional locations, such as Interstate Drive and North Prospect, the Ashland Park Homeowner’s Association, and the Edgebrook Neighborhood Group. The event is organized by several community entities.
