University of Illinois students who are season ticket holders for the Fighting Illini football team have a chance to win their tickets for the 2025 season. The event, Kickin' for Chicken, is presented by Chick-fil-A and will take place at Memorial Stadium on Thursday, May 8, from 4-7 p.m. CT.
Participants, who must already have purchased their 2025 season tickets, will attempt a 35-yard field goal. Those who succeed in making the field goal will have the cost of their season ticket reimbursed.
Additionally, the first 3,000 participants, regardless of their field goal success, will receive a complimentary Chick-fil-A 'Be our Guest Card', redeemable for a free chicken sandwich or nuggets.
The field goal attempts will be made toward the south goal post at Memorial Stadium. Student check-in begins at 3:30 p.m. CT in the northwest tunnel of the stadium. Eligibility requires students to complete an RSVP and present their University of Illinois i-cards during check-in.
