Mayor Deborah Frank Feinen, City Of Champaign | City Of Champaign website
Janel Gomez, Community Relations Manager for Equity and Engagement, attended a meeting in early April with the City of Peoria’s Fair Employment Commission. During her visit, Gomez outlined the responsibilities and current activities of the Equity and Engagement department. She also responded to inquiries about the City’s Human Rights Ordinance and the Champaign Diversity Advancement Program.
Additionally, Gomez invited commission members to participate in an upcoming human rights convening planned for October.
