Illinois divers complete first day at NCAA Diving Zones

The Illinois diving team participated in the first day of the NCAA Diving Zones held in Columbus, Ohio. The event took place on March 10, with three divers from Illinois showcasing their skills on the three-meter boards.

Bethany Mercer achieved a score of 239.45, placing her in 35th position. Following closely was Dani O'Kelly, who secured the 36th spot with a score of 234.20. Matilda Garcia concluded the day's competition for Illinois by finishing in 47th place with a score of 196.70.

The dive squad will continue their efforts as they compete again on March 11 for the second day of the NCAA Diving Zones.
