Parking restrictions introduced at Holts Drive cul-de-sac

The Public Works Department has announced plans to install three "No Parking in Cul-De-Sac" signs at the Holts Drive cul-de-sac off Phillips Drive. This measure is intended to facilitate the turning of an MTD Paratransit Vehicle, which has faced difficulties maneuvering due to parked vehicles obstructing its path.

According to the department, the inability of the MTD vehicle to turn around in the cul-de-sac has sometimes necessitated backing all the way out onto Phillips Street. To address this issue and ensure smooth operations for the paratransit service, parking in this area will soon be prohibited.

The new parking restriction aims to provide a clear pathway for the MTD vehicle, enhancing safety and efficiency for both drivers and residents.
