The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics has unveiled the promotional schedule for the 2025 Illinois baseball season at Illinois Field. A series of events and activities are planned to enhance the experience for fans attending home games.

The highlight of the season is the 15th annual Bleacher Bum Barbecue, scheduled for Friday, April 25, when Illinois faces Purdue at 6 p.m. CT. This event has been a significant attraction in previous years, drawing large crowds and will include a post-game fireworks display.

On Saturday, April 26, the Fighting Illini will host Honor and Serve Day against Purdue at 3 p.m. The team will wear special commemorative jerseys to honor University of Illinois student veterans and military heroes from the Champaign-Urbana community. Details about this year's jerseys will be announced later.

From May 9-11, Warrior Weekend will take place during the series against UCLA. This event is dedicated to former pitching coach Mark Allen, who passed away on February 5, 2025.

Recurring promotions throughout the season include Food Truck Fridays with local food options during Friday games and $2 draft beers on Tuesdays. Sundays feature a kid's zone with inflatables available before games start.

Fans can also enjoy happy hour drink specials from gate opening until first pitch at all home games. The right field patio is available for rental this season, offering space for fans to bring their own chairs and tents or use provided picnic tables. Baseball card giveaways are scheduled in four sets: April 4, April 6, April 12, and May 26. Notable dates include March 18 (St. Patrick's Game), April 4 (B1G Home Opener), April 5 (Mom's Weekend), April 13 (Bark In The Park/Youth League Day), April 15 (Jackie Robinson Day/Greek and Student Night), May 10 (Senior Day), and May 11 (Mother's Day).
