Illinois volleyball has announced its spring schedule, featuring six matches over two months. The team will face a range of opponents as part of their preparation for the upcoming season.
Head Coach Chris Tamas stated, "We have a competitive slate of spring matches that will help us develop and grow as individuals and as a team. We look forward to some great matchups against top tier opponents that have a variety of styles of play, which are important to learn about to prepare for next season. We will also be in some venues that allow for Illinois fans from all over the state, and surrounding, to attend. We look forward to these matches."
The spring schedule begins on March 8th with a match against Missouri at the High Performance, St. Louis, Beal Center at 5 p.m.
On March 29th, Illinois will face Milwaukee and Loyola Chicago in closed-to-the-public contests.
A match against Marquette is set for April 5 at the University of Dubuque. The Illini will also play Iowa State following this contest.
The final game is scheduled for April 12 at The Academy VBC in Indiana where they will compete against Kentucky at noon CT.
Last year, Illinois volleyball concluded the season with an 18-13 record and secured a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
