City staff participated in the Career and Technical Education Week career fairs organized by Unit 4, which took place at Central High School on February 12 and Centennial High School on February 13. The events saw participation from around 50 employers who engaged with students from freshman to senior year, discussing local career opportunities and utilizing interactive displays to enhance student engagement.
Representatives from various City departments, including Fire (Suppression and Building Safety), Human Resources, Police, Public Works, METCAD, and the Library, attended the fairs. They interacted with students through meaningful conversations focused not only on specific career paths but also on highlighting the benefits and value of careers in public service.
