Village of Rossville Police, Health & Safety Committee met Jan. 6

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

A quorum was established as Chairman Black and Trustee Gammon were physically present at the committee meeting held at the Rossville Municipal Building, located at 120 East Attica Street in Rossville, Illinois. Trustee Cornell was absent. The guests present were Clerk White, Chief Greene, Trustees Jones, Wallace and Daniel.

Chairman Black called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting was to go into executive session to discuss possible discipline of an officer under 5 ILCS 120/2 C1 and return to open session to act on a decision resulting from executive session.

Motion was made by Black, seconded by Gammon to go into executive session to discuss possible discipline of an officer under 5 ILCS 120.2 C1. Vote: Black, yes; Gammon, yes. The meeting left regular session at 5:03 p.m.

Motion was made by Black, seconded by Gammon to return to regular session. Vote: Gammon, yes; Black, yes. The meeting returned to regular session at 5:19 p.m.

Mayor Queen announced newly appointed Trustee Wallace will replace former Trustee Richison on the committees Trustee Richison was assigned.

Motion was made by Gammon, seconded by Black to adjourn the meeting. Vote: Gammon, yes; Black, yes. The meeting was adjourned at 5:26 p.m.
