On January 22, 2025, it was announced that Congresswoman Mary E. Miller will join the Committee on House Administration in the 119th Congress. The announcement was made by House Speaker Mike Johnson and Chairman Bryan Steil.
Representative Miller expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating: "I am honored to serve on the Committee on House Administration with Chairman Bryan Steil. I look forward to working with him and my fellow committee members on important issues like keeping foreign dollars out of our elections, requiring nationwide voter ID, and ensuring that non-citizens are never able to vote in the United States. Securing our elections is a critical issue for President Trump and my constituents, and I look forward to playing an active role on the Committee to accomplish these goals."
She also emphasized her commitment to supporting the House of Representatives in serving the American people effectively: "I also look forward to working with the Committee to ensure that the House of Representatives has the tools it needs to effectively serve the American people. I wish to thank Speaker Johnson and Chairman Steil for this new opportunity to serve."
Chairman Bryan Steil welcomed Rep. Miller's appointment by saying: "I am excited to welcome my friend and colleague Rep. Mary Miller to the Committee on House Administration. Her work on the Election Integrity Caucus and commitment to strengthening our election laws will be a great asset to our Committee."
In addition to her new role, Congresswoman Miller serves on other committees including Agriculture, Education, and Workforce. She has been representing Illinois' 15th District in Congress since January 2021.
