Fighting Illini Athletics has announced a Cheez-It Citrus Bowl watch party following the Illinois women's basketball game against Washington on New Year's Eve. The event will take place at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois. Fans attending the basketball game can join in watching the bowl game with other supporters of the team.
Illinois football season ticket holders are offered an incentive to attend, receiving a complimentary ticket to the basketball game. The doors to the State Farm Center will open at 11 a.m. CT for the noon basketball game, and fans must be inside by 1 p.m. CT if they wish to stay for the watch party. Re-entry will not be permitted after this time.
The schedule includes opening doors at 11 a.m., followed by the women's basketball game starting at noon. At 1 p.m., entry will close, and attendees can remain inside for the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl kickoff between Illinois and South Carolina at 2 p.m.
All standard entrances for women's basketball games will be available until 1 p.m., and parking is free of charge. The clear bag policy remains in effect during these events.
Single-game general admission tickets for the women's basketball matchup against Washington are available for purchase at $8.
