The Illinois football team's 2025 Big Ten schedule was revealed by the conference office. The team has designated Sept. 27 as Homecoming against USC and Nov. 1 for Dads Day/Foundation Weekend against Rutgers. Foundation Weekend is an annual event celebrating donors and their impact at the University of Illinois. In 2025, it will mark the University of Illinois Foundation's 90th Annual Meeting.
FamILLy Weekend, introduced in 2024 with a sellout game against Kansas, is scheduled for Sept. 13 against Western Michigan.

- Aug. 30: Western Illinois
- Sept. 6: at Duke
- Sept. 13: Western Michigan (FamILLy Weekend)
- Sept. 20: at Indiana
- Sept. 27: USC (Homecoming)
- Oct. 4: at Purdue
- Oct. 11: Ohio State
- Oct. 18: OFF
- Oct. 25: at Washington
- Nov. 1: Rutgers (Dads Day/Foundation Weekend)
- Nov. 8: OFF
- Nov. 15: Maryland
- Nov. 22: at Wisconsin
- Nov. 29: Northwestern
All games and dates are subject to change, with Friday games to be announced later by the Big Ten Conference and its television partners.
