Illinois has announced that deposits for new season ticket holders for the 2025 football season are now being accepted. The Division of Intercollegiate Athletics stated that these deposits will secure seats at Memorial Stadium, with current 2024 season ticket holders exempt from making a deposit.

The university is maintaining its commitment to providing affordable access to fans, offering the lowest-priced season tickets in the Big Ten. Horseshoe season tickets are priced at $98, and 50-yard line seats are competitively priced within the conference.

Since head coach Bret Bielema's arrival in 2021, Illinois has made significant progress. In 2024, the team won nine regular-season games and attracted an average of 54,750 fans per home game at Memorial Stadium, marking the highest attendance since 2009.

Over the past four seasons, Illinois has seen substantial growth in attendance, leading the nation in three-year growth with an increase of nearly 20,000 attendees from 2021 to 2024. This places Illinois first nationally in terms of growth by numbers and ninth by percentage.

Despite this success, there is potential for further growth at Memorial Stadium. In 2024, Illinois achieved two sellouts for the first time since 2009. The upcoming 2025 home schedule includes games against Ohio State, USC, Northwestern, Maryland, Rutgers, Western Illinois (Aug. 30), and Western Michigan (Sept. 13).

Deposits for new season tickets can be made online or through a Fighting Illini Account Manager. These deposits are non-refundable and cost $50 per seat. They will be applied to ticket orders upon purchase. Fans who make a deposit will receive information on selecting their seat location in March 2025.
