The Illinois football team is set to face Northwestern on November 30 at Wrigley Field, with the game scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. CT. The announcement was made by the Big Ten Conference office and its television partners, confirming that the match will be broadcast on Big Ten Network.
Illinois, holding a record of 7-3 overall and 4-3 in the Big Ten, last played at Wrigley Field in 2010. During that game, Mikel Leshoure achieved an Illinois record by rushing for 330 yards, leading to a 48-27 victory over Northwestern. The Illini have played twice at this iconic venue in their history, with previous wins against Northwestern in both 2010 and back in 1923.
Before heading to Chicago for the Wrigley Field matchup, Illinois will conclude its regular season with consecutive road games within the Big Ten. This stretch begins with a game against Rutgers on November 23, starting at 11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET on Peacock.
