FOIA Request to Paxton City Council Regarding Detailed Information on Council Members on October 15, 2024.
In a continued effort to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Chambana Sun have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Paxton City Council in Illinois. The request was made under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, and we have asked for the information to be provided in an electronic format.
The specific information requested includes a list of all council members with their respective names, titles, years appointed, term lengths (2 or 4 years), and term expiry dates.
