Former Illini football players show mixed results across NFL Week 6

The recent performances of former Illinois players in the NFL have been documented for Week 6 of the 2024 season. Isaiah Adams, an offensive lineman for the Arizona Cardinals, participated in 23 offensive and three special teams snaps during their loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Tony Adams played as a safety for the New York Jets and was involved in all 69 defensive snaps, recording eight tackles despite their defeat against the Buffalo Bills. Nick Allegretti started as left guard for the Washington Commanders, playing every offensive snap in their game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Chase Brown had a notable performance as a running back for the Cincinnati Bengals. He contributed with 53 rushing yards on ten carries and a touchdown, along with 11 receiving yards on two receptions, aiding in their victory over the New York Giants.

Tommy DeVito did not play for the Giants in their loss to Cincinnati. Kendrick Green participated in both offensive and special teams plays during Houston Texans' win over the New England Patriots. Jake Hansen recorded three tackles while playing for Houston.

Nate Hobbs started at cornerback for Las Vegas Raiders and made ten tackles against Pittsburgh Steelers. Kerby Joseph had an interception during Detroit Lions' win over Dallas Cowboys, alongside four tackles and one pass breakup.

Ted Karras played all offensive snaps as center for Cincinnati Bengals in their victory over New York Giants. Doug Kramer took part in Chicago Bears' win against Jacksonville Jaguars. Vederian Lowe exited early due to injury while playing for New England Patriots.

Quan Martin was active defensively for Washington Commanders against Baltimore Ravens. Chase McLaughlin scored one field goal and six extra points as kicker for Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jer'Zhan Newton participated defensively but faced defeat with Washington Commanders.

Alex Palczewski was inactive during Denver Broncos' game against Los Angeles Chargers. Del'Shawn Phillips recorded two tackles on special teams duty with Houston Texans.

Tip Reiman contributed to Arizona Cardinals' effort against Green Bay Packers. Dawuane Smoot played defensively for Buffalo Bills, who secured a win over New York Jets. Jihad Ward's team had a bye week.

Casey Washington did not play in Atlanta Falcons' win over Carolina Panthers, while Isaiah Williams was inactive during Detroit Lions’ match against Dallas Cowboys. Devon Witherspoon started at cornerback but Seattle Seahawks lost to San Francisco 49ers.

Sydney Brown remains on Philadelphia Eagles’ PUP list this week.
