Lexanne Halama, Anna Ritter, and Isabel Sy have been recognized by the College Sport Communicators (CSC) as Academic All-District honorees. This announcement highlights their academic achievements alongside their athletic commitments.

To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District honor, candidates must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.50, have completed one full year at their current institution, and be at least sophomores in both academic and athletic standing. Additionally, golfers need to participate in at least 70% of team-scoring matches.

Halama has received this accolade for the second consecutive year. She is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and was recently named Illinois Outstanding Scholar Athlete among junior student-athletes at The Oskees on April 22. Halama graduated with a degree in integrative biology.

Ritter, who is working towards a degree in communication, receives this recognition for the first time. The sophomore also earned her first Academic All-Big Ten honor earlier this month.

Sy has been honored as a WGCA Honorable Mention All-American and earns her first CSC Academic All-District distinction. As an All-Big Ten First Team performer this season from San Gabriel, California, Sy is also advancing to the national ballot as a finalist for CSC Academic All-America. She graduated with a degree in kinesiology.
