Illinois Athletics hosts Spring Sports Fest from April 12-14

Fighting Illini Athletics will host the Spring Sports Fest from April 12 to 14 in Champaign, Illinois. The event will feature 11 home games across four sports: tennis, softball, baseball, and track & field.

Attendees are encouraged to participate in multiple events and can collect an Illinois Prize Pack by using a Spring Sports Fest punch card. These cards can be picked up at any of the events throughout the weekend. To qualify for the prize pack, fans need to attend one event from each of the four sports and get their card punched.

The schedule includes:

- Friday, April 12:

- Women's Tennis (WTEN) vs. Indiana at 3 PM during Mom's Weekend with giveaways including Illinois Tennis visors.

- Softball (SB) vs. Purdue at 5 PM as part of Strikeout Cancer Weekend Game #1 with pink-themed giveaways.

- Baseball (BSB) vs. Northern Illinois at 6 PM.

- Saturday, April 13:

- Track & Field (T&F) hosts the Gary Wieneke Memorial all day with activities like a live band and autograph sessions.

- Men's Tennis (MTEN) vs. Northwestern at noon with a Kid's Clinic and giveaways.

- SB vs. Purdue at 1 PM for Strikeout Cancer Game #2 featuring lavender-themed items.

- BSB vs. Northern Illinois at 3 PM followed by a youth-focused post-game autograph session.

- Sunday, April 14:

- SB vs. Purdue at noon for Strikeout Cancer Weekend Game #3 with gold-themed giveaways.

- WTEN vs. Purdue also at noon on Senior Day offering limited edition waist bags.

- BSB vs. Northern Illinois at 1 PM with commemorative Jackie Robinson baseballs for early attendees.

The Spring Sports Fest aims to engage fans through various promotions and interactive experiences over three days.
