Illinois men's tennis team, with a season record of 16-8, is set to face the Toledo Rockets, who hold a 14-10 record, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The match will take place in Lexington, Kentucky at noon CT on Friday.

This marks Illinois' 27th appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Under head coach Brad Dancer's leadership, this is their 17th appearance in his 19-year tenure. The team's historical performance includes a 52-25 all-time record in the tournament. Notably, they secured the national championship title in 2003 and were runners-up during Dancer's second season as head coach in 2007.
