Illinois baseball is set to continue its nine-game homestand with a three-game series against Northern Illinois this weekend. The games will take place at Illinois Field in Champaign, starting on Friday at 6 p.m. CT.

Promotions for the weekend include Food Truck Friday and Jackie Robinson Day on Sunday, where the first 150 fans will receive a commemorative baseball.

Northern Illinois enters the series with an overall record of 11-21 after a recent win against Eastern Illinois but having been swept by Bowling Green in their last series. Infielder Eric Erato is leading the Huskies offensively with a .344 batting average.
Illinois aims to maintain momentum following its successful performance against Minnesota in Big Ten play and looks forward to continuing its homestand against SIUE next week.
