Illinois men's gymnastics athletes have been recognized with Big Ten Weekly Awards. Freshman Brandon Dang and sophomore Tate Costa were honored for their performances, with Costa receiving the Gymnast of the Week award and Dang being named Freshman of the Week for the third consecutive time.

Tate Costa, a sophomore from Narragansett, Rhode Island, majoring in Engineering, achieved career-best scores in four events during Illinois' victory over No. 4 Michigan. He secured podium finishes in both the high bar and floor exercise with scores of 14.300. Additionally, he recorded scores of 13.750 on the high bar and 13.300 on the rings. This marks his first Gymnast of the Week award since Logan Myers received it on January 29, 2024.

Brandon Dang, hailing from San Jose, California, and majoring in Electrical Engineering at Illinois, recorded a career-high score of 15.200 on the pommel horse during Illinois' win over Michigan. This achievement earned him his third consecutive Freshman of the Week honor. The last Illinois freshman to receive this recognition was also Dang on January 29, 2024.

The list of Big Ten Men's Gymnasts of the Week for 2024 includes several mentions from Illinois: Garrett Schooley on January 15 as Freshman (F), Brandon Dang as Freshman (F) on January 22 and January 29, Logan Myers as Gymnast (G) on January 29 alongside Will Hauke as Specialist (S), and now Tate Costa as Gymnast (G) along with Brandon Dang as Co-Freshman (Co-F) on February 5.
