Illinois swim and dive head coach Jeana Kempe announced the team's 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday, September 17.

The Fighting Illini's campaign begins in Tallahassee, Florida, with the Seminole Invite on September 27-28. Prelims will start at 9 a.m., and finals will take place at 4 p.m. each day. The following week, on October 5, the annual Orange and Blue scrimmage is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the ARC Pool. Last year, the blue team won with a score of 150-138.

The first home dual of the season is set for Thursday, October 10, when the Kansas Jayhawks visit Champaign at 5 p.m. Illinois aims to avenge its previous season's loss of 169-131 in Lawrence, Kansas.

On October 25-26, Illinois will host the House of Paign Invite with Vanderbilt and Indiana State participating. Prelims will begin at 11 a.m., followed by finals at 5 p.m. each day. The final nonconference dual takes place on November 1 against Southern Illinois in Carbondale at 2 p.m.

Before Thanksgiving break, the team will travel to Iowa City for the Hawkeye Invite from November 21-23. Prelims are scheduled for 10 a.m., with finals at 5 p.m. daily. The calendar year concludes with participation in the CSCAA Open Water Nationals in Miami on December 15.

The new year starts with three Big Ten duals within one week: Purdue visits Champaign on January 11 at 11 a.m.; Illinois then travels to Iowa for a dual meet on January 17 and to Nebraska on January 18—both starting at 11 a.m. The final dual meet is against Eastern Illinois in Champaign on February 1.
