Fighting Illini golf fans will have the opportunity to see current and former Illini golfers in action this week as the Korn Ferry Tour makes its annual stop in Springfield for the Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS. Four Illini are participating in the central Illinois event, with six additional alumni slated to compete across various tours, including the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, PGA Tour Champions, and PGA Tour Americas.

On the PGA Tour, Adrien Dumont de Chassart and Nick Hardy will be competing at the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Dumont de Chassart has made the cut in three consecutive tour starts since his T30 finish at the Byron Nelson in early May. Hardy has advanced to the weekend in five of his last seven starts since late March.

Brian Campbell, currently ranked No. 11 on the Korn Ferry Tour points list and coming off a T8 finish at last week's Compliance Solutions Championship, leads a group of Illini at this week's Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, Illinois. Campbell is joined by fellow alumni Dylan Meyer and Michael Feagles, as well as rising senior and reigning Big Ten Golfer of the Year Jackson Buchanan. Feagles and Buchanan earned sponsor exemptions into the field.

The Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS is scheduled for June 27-30 at Panther Creek Country Club. Fans can attend free of charge courtesy of a partnership with Visit Springfield. Daily passes to an all-inclusive hospitality venue are available for purchase. Tickets can be secured by visiting MemorialHealthChampionship.com.

Illini legend Steve Stricker will compete for his second U.S. Senior Open Championship – and his eighth PGA TOUR Champions major championship overall – this week at Newport Country Club in Newport, Rhode Island. Stricker claimed the title in 2019 and has finished as runner-up in each of the last two seasons.

Matthis Besard will participate in this week's DP World Tour's Italian Open along Northern Italy's Adriatic Coast. This marks Besard's 15th DP World Tour start of the season; he finished T30 earlier this month at the European Open but missed the cut at his last outing during the KLM Open.

Former Illini Tommy Kuhl and Piercen Hunt are set to tee off on the PGA Tour Americas for a second consecutive week. They will compete at this week's ATB Classic held at Northern Bear Golf Course in Alberta, Canada.
