Hoerr Construction, Inc. will be conducting maintenance work on Mattis Avenue between Bloomington Road and Bradley Avenue, leading to lane closures and traffic disruptions. The construction company explained, "In order to perform routine storm sewer maintenance activities, traffic in both directions will be affected during different phases of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane through a short construction zone."
The scheduled maintenance work is set to take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Monday, April 15, and concluding on Friday, April 19, 2024. However, the company highlighted that the progress of the project is subject to weather conditions and may be delayed in case of inclement weather.
