U.S. Representative Mary Miller, currently serving Illinois’ 15th district in Congress, used her social media platform this week to address several policy priorities and recent legislative developments.

On August 1, 2025, Miller posted a call for stronger online protections for minors. She wrote: "Children should NEVER have access to adult content online. This is something everyone should agree on, yet many sites refuse to enforce strong age verification. It’s time to pass the SCREEN Act and protect our most innocent."

Later that day, Miller discussed her participation in a local meeting: "This week, I had the opportunity to speak at the Douglas countywide township meeting, where I highlighted all of the wins for rural America in President Trump's Big Beautiful Bill. We also discussed the critical issue of defending our local communities and farmland against https://t.co/YwOYG3u9O8" (August 1, 2025).

The following day, she praised former President Donald Trump’s policies with another post stating: "President Trump is orchestrating the GREAT American comeback! Illegal aliens are being DEPORTED. The Green New Scam is DEFUNDED. Planned Parenthood clinics are CLOSING. Foreign nations are finally PAYING their fair share." (August 2, 2025).

Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th congressional district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021 and has previously won elections by significant margins; she defeated Paul Lange in the 2022 general election with over seventy percent of the vote and Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election by a similar margin.
