According to i3 Broadband, the construction will span an area between Mattis Avenue and Hedge Road from west to east, and between Hedge Road and Bradley Avenue from north to south, lasting approximately 6-8 weeks from the initial sighting of utility flags to the final activation of services.
i3 Broadband, a licensed utility in the state of Illinois, has received permission to carry out the construction in the public right-of-way and general utility easements designated for the City of Champaign. The company emphasizes its collaboration with the City of Champaign throughout the permitting and construction phases, with construction activities planned for both city right-of-way and public utility easements on private properties within the subdivision, encompassing backyard, side yard, and front yard easements.
