On Sunday, February 25, former Liberty High School standout Sydney Malott’s current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division I game against the Hawaii Rainbow Wāhine.

The game took place in Cathedral City, California. This was their first matchup against the Hawaii Rainbow Wāhine this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 1 at 2:30 p.m. in Baton Rouge, Louisiana against Louisiana Tech Lady Bulldogs.
