Washington School had the highest enrollment among Piatt County schools, welcoming 528 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Out of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.7% of the students were girls, and 48.3% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 96% of the student body at Washington School.

Among the 13 schools in Piatt County, Monticello High School ranked second in enrollment with 475 students, while Monticello Middle School welcomed 342 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.

Washington School is a part of Monticello Community Unit School District 25, which generally encompasses schools within Piatt County with its main office in Monticello.

In the previous school year, Monticello High School had the highest number of students among Piatt County schools.
