There were 543 white students enrolled in Fisher Community Unit School District 1 in the 2021-22 school year, 0.7% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Fisher Community Unit School District 1 welcomed 622 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 93.9% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Fisher Community Unit School District 1 roughly covers schools within Champaign County and has a main office in Fisher.

Among the two schools in Fisher Community Unit School District 1, Fisher Grade School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 289 students.

In 2022, Illinois had 1,925,415 students enrolled in a total of 3,977 schools. There were 130,467 teachers in the public schools, or roughly one teacher for every 15 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.

K-12 enrollment has been declining in Illinois for many years, reflecting demographic changes.
