From previous article:
Tolono School Board President Fred Koss tendered his resignation on July 11, 2022, effective immediately, from his elected position as school board member and as president of the school board.
This resignation comes on the heels of his arrest (see WAND-TV report) in Champaign County for “touching himself” while parked where he could observe children playing at a splash park. He was observed by a trained sexual-assault nurse medical examiner who happened upon his vehicle, and she took photographs prior to calling the police.
Koss claimed he was watching a video on his cell phone while “touching himself” but denied watching the children playing at the splash pad.
Champaign County Prosecutors have charged Koss with one misdemeanor count of Public Indecency / Lewd Exposure.
He plead not guilty with a future court date in August 2022.
