WASHINGTON - Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-15) issued the following statement in response to the announcement of a sweetheart deal granted to Hunter Biden, which reveals a broken, two-tiered system of justice in America.
"Hunter Biden is receiving a sweetheart deal from the Department of Justice that shields "The Big Guy" Joe Biden from the Biden family's foreign bribery operation. The cash and diamonds for which the Biden family failed to pay taxes came from China, Russia, and Ukraine, yet there are no Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) charges. The Department of Justice's charges against President Biden's son Hunter reveal a two-tiered system of justice, in which the DOJ shields Joe Biden but attempts to send President Trump to prison for one hundred years. Chairman Comer and the House Oversight Committee will investigate the evidence uncovering the Biden family's influence peddling operation and foreign bribery scheme regardless of the DOJ's attempts to shield Joe Biden from the rule of law."
