City of Paxton Public Works Committee met March 14.

The Public Works Committee met on Wednesday, March 14, 2023, at 6pm to discuss the Participation in 120 Water Program. In attendance were Aldermen Evans, Pacey, and Chairman Withers, Mayor Bill Ingold, Comptroller Jensen, Water/Sewer Supervisor Carleton.
The meeting was called to order at 6:01pm.
Liz Johns from 120 Water was on a zoom call to discuss the program and answer any questions that may arise. 120 Water is a trusted advisor for water programs. The program will help the City of Paxton Public Works department with helping locate any lead pipes still in use within the city limits.
Alderman Pacey motioned to recommend to the council that they approve the participation 120 Water program. Alderman Evans seconded the motion. Roll call: ayes – Evans, Withers, Pacey. All ayes, motion passed.
Alderman Pacey motioned to adjourn; Alderman Evans seconded. Voice vote, motion passed.
