What happened to the median home price in Rantoul during April?

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Rantoul rose by $60,000 while total sales decreased by 14.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $130,000 - an 85.7 percent increase over the $70,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Rantoul in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Rantoul for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $1,693, approximately 1.3 percent of the median home sale price for April.
